Eco Group
We meet occasional Saturday lunchtimes
We have decided to raise funds to develop the garden area at the front of the Church. This is a project people can support and see the results of their work easily. This will also have input from the youth in Church so they are part of the project, including giving the garden a name . For more info Click Here
Friends of St Peter's
We support the work of the Church through fundraising and social events.
The AGM and lunch for the Friends was on the 8th February. The Friends Celtic Pilgrimage to Llantwit Major and Cowbridge took place on the 26th April last year, for more information click here.
Mothers' Union
We meet on the first Monday of the month 7pm Eucharist followed by a short meeting. The aim is to hold an afternoon meeting every few months. To find out more click here
The Luncheon Club
We meet every 4-6 weeks to share food and fellowship. We vary the venue but always choose a restaurant in Cardiff or the surrounding area. Lifts are available for those who have difficulty with transport.
The Prayer Group
The Prayer Group meets on a monthly basis, usually a Thursday after the 7pm Eucharist.
There may be a short bible study or a spiritual reflection or a period of meditation. Music, an Icon, or a work of art may be used to focus our prayers. All are welcome to be part of the group.
Walsingham Cell
The 2012 annual South Wales Diocese Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Walsingham took place in July last year.

Mary's Library
Mary’s Library was started in 2010 with a bequest from a faithful parishioner who loved books and reading.
A number of books are available on a wide variety of subjects: answering basic questions about our faith, the history of the church, living out our faith and spiritual writings. It is good to see the books being used by an increasing number of parishioners. The collection, which is continually being added to, can be found in the baptistery, at the back of church. Please sign books out and back in – there is no time limit and no fines!
Arts and Crafts Group
We usually meet alternate Monday mornings between 10am and 12.30pm in the Community Hall.
Our little band continued to meet throughout 2012, encouraging one another to try different mediums to express our inner beings. When that fails, we have a cuppa and a welsh cake, and then back to the task.
Obviously last year we had two important events which spurred us on to better things. The first one being the Display of proposals for the Community Garden and Displays of Activities carried out by the Community at St. Peters’ Hall which was attended by the Lord Mayor of Cardiff and other dignitaries. This was followed by the visit of Princess Anne. We were thrilled when our paintings were included in the book presented to her. (Some of our favourite paintings are on the banner at the top of this page.) Click here to see more.
We have three new members who are very talented and give us fresh inspiration. They attend a number of other “proper” classes but say they enjoy coming to our Group, it must be the spontaneous bursting into song that has them hooked.
Hopefully, this year we will be able to take advantage of the garden and sit outside to paint. As before we are always happy to see more new faces. Use the Contact form if you'd like to get in touch or have any questions and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
