Walsingham Shrine
Walsingham is one of the most extraordinary villages in the British Isles. From the 12th century, when organised pilgrimage began to the “Holy House”, until 1538 the village of Little Walsingham saw huge amounts of building activity including an Augustinian Priory and a Franciscan Friary and dozens of cottages; all this in response to the thousands of pilgrims (including every monarch from Henry III (c.1226) to Henry VIII (1511)) who flocked to the Shrine. Let the Children LiveLet The Children Live! is a charity that works in Colombia with children from the streets and shanty-towns of the city of Medellín. These children are called ‘the disposable ones’ and they live, and sometimes die, in the streets and rubbish dumps of Colombia’s cities. Their ages range from six-year-olds to teenagers and they are often unloved, unwanted, beaten, robbed, raped and murdered. The charity aims to safeguard the lives of these children from the poverty and violence of the streets and to make their lives worth living by giving them love, education and a future. It is currently working with 600 children and young people, both boys and girls.
This website will give you an overview of our work and tell you how you can become part of it and make a difference to the lives of our children.
Oremus (daily prayer site)
oremus serves to nourish each of us in our daily prayer and bible reading; to introduce more people to the tradition of the Daily Office; to strengthen the sense of community of the group by the knowledge that our fellow members are using the same form of prayer, and by our prayers for one another; to strengthen our Anglican identity in our prayers for the Anglican Communion; and to greaten our Christian love in our prayers for our fellow Christians and for all people.
The Shrine of our Lady of Penrhys
The Society of Our Lady of Penrhys was set up to foster devotion to Our Lady, to increase faith in Jesus Christ, and to encourage pilgrimage to the shrine at Penrhys. With Mary's song rooted firmly in our hearts we proclaim the kingdom of God and pray for the people of Wales and for the unity of all Christians. We seek holiness through scripture, sacrament and prayer. Together, our hearts and voices unite so that Mary's song resounds through the Rhondda and far beyond.

The Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament

St Fagan's National Museum of History
St Fagans has a special place in the hearts of the people of Wales. It first opened its gates to the public on 1 July 1948. This was the UK’s first national open air museum.
