How we see this space

The place of work – also rest – ‘when the hands are occupied the mind is free’
               - of renewal – colour, water, wildlife
               - to set an example – how eco balance could work
               - of healthy walking – social strolling
A place we could worship in - as a sacred space
Is this place found – if so, how?

How we live this space
  • Yes – in abundance. Not just in the community garden, but also when working in the church – flower arranging, cleaning etc.
  • The garden can be accessed by people of all ages and capabilities and can bring out unknown talents.
  • While we are occupied with our work there is opportunity for reflection and renewal
  • If we can find pleasure in our work, then it does enable us to enter that deeper harmony.
  • Working in a garden opens you up to the world God created & is a very positive symbol of renewal – a constant comfort.
